What is the Bootstrap?

Bootstrap is the most popular HTML, CSS, and JS framework for developing responsive, mobile first projects on the web. Originally created by a designer and a developer at Twitter, Bootstrap has become one of the most popular front-end frameworks and open source projects in the world.

Newest version of that framework is Bootstrap 4! In this version, somethings was changed. In normaly, Bootstrap doesn’t use the CSS flex structure on older versions but unlike others their own version, Bootstrap use CSS flex structure on this new version.

 

What was changed via new version?

  • Bootstrap 4 came with new stylesheets and components.
  • Bootstrap 4 supported by all major web browsers but forget the Internet Explorer 9 and down versions.
  • No longer bootstrap icons did not included to new version. Reason of that, already web artists can use other web icon sets compatible what they needs. So Bootstrap can be smaller size than icon included version. Size is important for speed of the web pages.
